Livestock Chute Safety Protocol Do Not Operate Without Proper Training. Be Aware Of All Hazards Prior To Utilization, Including Ground Level, Overhead Hazards, And Moving Hydraulic Parts. Be Aware Of Other Nearby Individuals Prior To Operation. Do Not Place Hands, Arms, Feet, Or Legs Between The Animal And Any Portion Of The Chute. Be Certain All Gates Are Properly Secured Before Moving Animals Into, Through, And Out Of The Chute. Make sure That No Person Is In A Position To Be Harmed By The Animal Prior To Release From The Chute. Turn Off The Hydraulic Motor Prior To Leaving The Area. Never Leave An Animal Unattended While Caught In The Headgate.
